JEFF TEALE

After spending around thirteen years pursuing a career as a sports person, 'Tealy' decided to break away from his stereotyped 'jock' role and redirect his life in the exciting new direction of performing.

Jeff found inspiration from his singing idol, Australian vocalist, John Farnham. As a teenager Jeff could often be found belting out some of John's famous tunes at football training.

No longer content to sing along to John's CDs, Jeff went on to teach himself the guitar and started writing his own songs. During this time he also began to develop a love for the classics and was discovered by Brisbane's Ignatians Musical Society when he was invited to play the role of Enjolras in Les Misérables.

Jeff was born in Brisbane and spent much of his childhood on the family strawberry farm. Off stage, Jeff still loves to kick the footy, play ping-pong and hang ten at the beach.

Jeff thanks his loving parents and brother for supporting him during his transformation into a musician, and he is excited about his new role performing with The Ten Tenors.
