DOM SMITH

Dom returns to The Ten Tenors after a short leave of absence, during which he appeared in Lucia di Lammermoor for Opera Queensland

Dom Smith has been involved in music for as long as he can remember. It was as a schoolboy trombonist that he discovered his passion
for classical music and jazz. Dom studied to be an accountant at university and took up singing in his spare time to relieve the boredom.

Before joining The Ten Tenors,Dom performed the roles of Peter Quint in The Turn of the Screw and Mercury in Orpheus in the Underworld, in addition to extensive oratorio work, most notably in Bach's St. John Passion. Dom loves playing golf and spending long afternoons at the "19th" hole.

Dom's favourite aspect of being in The Ten Tenors is that all the traveling gives him an outstanding opportunity to sample the great beers of the world!
