At his company’s product launch in Brisbane this afternoon, Warner Music Australia CEO Ed St John told a story about having lunch recently with broadcaster Alan Jones and members of the Ten Tenors. St John said he made the mistake of remarking how good it was to see some fine operatic singers come from Queensland of all places. “Alan pulled me up and said, ‘Most of Australia’s best opera singers come from Queensland’.” Quite right, too…
